Dobeter supply a full range of the JUKI FFR and FTFR feeders, which are tape feeders used with JUKI SMT pick-and-place machines, most notably the older KE and FX series, but with some variants being compatible with newer models. These electromechanical feeders were an evolution from earlier mechanical models, offering greater precision and flexibility.

The “R” in the model name indicates a specific feature set or an improved design over the standard FF or FTF models.

• Wider pitch range: FFR and FTFR feeders can handle a wider range of tape pitches, allowing them to support a greater variety of components. For example, a 56mm FTFR feeder might support 8mm to 24mm pitch sizes.
• Deeper pockets: The feeders are designed with deeper pockets and larger radiused discharge areas. This is particularly useful for handling taller components, such as aluminum electrolytic capacitors and larger ball grid arrays (BGAs).
• Stable feeding: A larger-diameter sprocket is often used in these feeders to enable smoother and more stable tape feeding, which is crucial for consistent and reliable component picking.
• Improved locking mechanism: A toggle-clamp system makes it easier and quicker to set the feeder on the machine’s feeder bank. This also improves the reproducibility of the feeder’s pick position, enhancing placement accuracy.
